My current goal is to make our environment suitable and favorable for life, sustainable and safe by means of Architecture. In my work I seek to operate in accordance with Sustainable Developlment Concept. My secondary interests are transport and industrial design, programming, science and art, technology of waste recycling programming, science and art, technology of waste recycling and biosphere recovery.

The design was inspired by the Marble Arch of London and double helix of DNA string. The bridge consists of multiple identical details covered in transparent envelopes. Each next detail is rotated by 2 degrees relative to the previous. Side tunnels are designated for pedestrians and offer good views, while central tunnel can be used by bicyclists and runners. The bridge can also be used as a rain sheltecan also be used as a rain shelter.

GARAGE AT VOLGOGRADSKY PROSPEKT

The garage is situated in south-eastern part of Moscow city, on a Volgogradsky Prospekt, part of Ryazanskoye route. Its main purposes are to store 300 vehicles of local residents and protect residential buildings and protect residential buildings from never-ending traffic noise. The building consists of 3 sections elevated above the route and 2 ramp towers covered with a big green roof.

7

To make the design flexible to fit into incovenient sites I made it modular. Basic module of the strusture is a box-shaped volume carried by two trusses. It is divided into three levels and can

store 102 cars. The garage for Volgogradskiy Prospect consists of three “boxes” and two ramp towers.

Radial highways and railway lines of Moscow separate the districts making travelling between neighborhoods uncomfortable, especially in winter. Besides storing vehicles this garage improves connection between residential areas. Its modular system allows to cover large areas with a single structure of any size. Its green roof serves as a pedestrian street and a park.

This bike rack is a variant of prefabricated single-cavity hypar construction that can be rapidly raised and dismantled. It consists of multiple steel rods fastened with metallic loops. A tree of flexible species can be planted in the center of the rack and weaved into the steel frame. Later, when the tree is grown big enough, steel structure can be removed. The tree will serve as a bike rack and the hypar can be raised on a new site.Utilized pipes can serve as rods for the construction.

The goal of “DeVELOpment” workshop was to create a transportation environment comfortable for bicyclists, drivers and pedestrians. A city with more than 100k

citizens, Dubna is famous for its research institutes and popularity of bicycles among locals. The city is divided

by wide Volga river and a rail line. Creation of accesible infrastructure and a accesible infrastructure and a

long-awaited bridge construction were supposed to give

the city a comfortable connection of districts and increase

tourist traffic.

CONCEPT The need for adaptivity of space for living and change of place of human can hardly be satisfied by means of static architecture. The goal of this project was to research the alternative forms of dwelling and find a solution that would let a human to live in comfort in various climatic zones without harming the environment. without harming the environment. We decided to work beyond “solid” architecture paradigm and thus we searched for solutions at the point of intersection of nomad tradition, low-tech architecture and modern engineering ideas and materials. For us the word home does not mean a building with solid walls, roof, windows and limited size. The whole world is our home and dwelling is only an envelope, guarding from negative impacts of environments and limiting the private spaces - like another layer of skin. In this phantom house is similar to cloth and spacecraft. We searched for inspiration in nature and chose a structure of a cell - basic element of all life on earth - as the logic inspiration in nature and chose a structure of a cell - basic element of all life on earth - as the logic for our design. This dwelling is self-sufficient and not bound by conditions of specific site, it can survive independently or be a part of the city structure.

DYNAMICS OF VOLUMESis provided by changing of is provided by changing of the form of envelopes. Rooms configuration is set by inner membrane. Such flexi-bility allows the users to reduce unused internal volume.

DYNAMICS OF SPACESallows to fit the house to allows to fit the house to meet the needs of residents and environment conditions, shrink or expand the internal spaces, change their configu-ration rapidly according to time of day, season, number of residents etc.of residents etc.

MODULAR FLOOR

The floor is a platform of variable size. This platform is made of multiple elements. Each element has a form of tetrahedron with a size of 850mm and consists of wooden floor, four metallic rods and a triangular frame with internal technical volume. Together they form a slab. This structure can be transformed This structure can be transformed to serve the needs of user, can be deconstructed and moved to a new site with minimal impact on soil. Edges of the platform are covered with the membrane to store warm air to store warm air under the floor.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILSMembranes divided into segments and consist of three layers of chambres. Internal pressure in each segment is adjusted by computer controlled compressor. Form of envelope can be changed manually by pulling the membrane and attaching to the floor and/or by changing the internal pressure in layers of chambers. Size of envelope can be increased by adding new segments. Material for membrane is ETFE.

NORTHERN LIGHTSCOMPETITION PROJECT

Lighting design project for “Aviapark” mall at Khodynskoe Pole was made in collaboration with

Liudmila Pavlova and proposed using very big lamps made of optical fiber and LED tape lighs.

Fibers would waver and flicker due to air movement in the building, resembling northern lights.

The building was designed to fullfill the needs of family of artists. It has two bedrooms, bathroom and a big bright central room. Big window on southern elevation was critical for the users’ work because they need natural daylight to paint. The house is connected to older summer house building. Constructed in 2014.
