We acknowledge the Mouheneener People, the traditional custodians of this land on which we

gather for worship.

This church seeks to be a place of safety and acceptance for all people.

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those

sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children to-gether, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you

were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you,

you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’

Refresh with Rev Bill Loader Lay Leadership Conference

10 am - 3 pm Saturday 29th April Scotch Oakburn College

Bill contributes to the life of the church through his writing and research. His recent work around first century Judaistic and Christian attitudes to sexuality has assisted the discussions across the whole Uniting Church as we continue to grapple with difference around sexuality. He invites us to dialogue with some of the difficult questions we may have, and to be respectful as we talk together with difficult issues. His approach to the New Testament, informs the way in which Bill encourages the church to continue to follow in the way of Jesus. There will be a cost to cover lunch. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements. RSVP 19 April, 2017 to [email protected] or 6331 9784
