• Preferably via Choose and Book Service.
• Or… e-referral from an nhs.net address to [email protected]
• Or… Paper referrals to your local CAS (community assessment centre) for triage, or if directly to the hospital, send to thereferral management centre.
two week wait reFerralS
• for 2 week wait referrals please email your letter from a secure NHS.net account to [email protected] and include ‘2WW’ in the subject heading. A receipt of the referral will be sent automaticallywhen a receipt notification is requested by the GP/Surgery.
urgent reFerralS
• Urgent referrals that don’t fall under the 2ww rule should be emailed to the central booking services on [email protected] marked ‘URGeNT’.
emergenCy reFerralS
• referral that need to be seen in 4 hours by a&e. gp referrals should be discussed with our on call team on 07715 808241 or bleep 390, to assess the suitability of the patients to attend a&e or our ambulatory emergency Care service.
