ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTITUTE ELI
Seneca’s English Language Institute (ELI) is an intensive, full-time English as a Second Language (ESL) program for international students who need to improve their English language skills before enrolling in Seneca programs. The ELI is also designed for students who want to improve their English for work or personal reasons.

THE ELI PROGRAM8 levels (each level is 7 weeks*)
25 hours per week
6 start dates per year (January, March, May, July, September and November)
5-day orientation before classes when you start
Take a placement test at Seneca or use your IELTS or TOEFL score
Study with students from more than 40 countries
Free conversation club and tutorials for extra practice
Study English and Seneca courses for credit at the same time

BOOKS $400 to $900 per semester depending on the program
HOUSING$600 to $900 per month
NOTES: All fees and expenses are approximate guidelines in CAD (Canadian) dollars and subject to change. Final tuition fees will be communicated to admitted students in their Letter of Admission. APPLYING TO SENECASTEPS TO APPLY

2. Check admission requirements for your program choice(s) and collect the required documents
3. Click “Apply Now” at senecacollege.ca/international/apply and complete your application. Upload all required documents with your application
4. Should you receive an email from Seneca College Admissions requesting additional information or documents, please respond in a timely manner
5. Seneca will email your admission decision to the email address you provided on your application
6. When you receive your off er of admission, pay your fi rst semester fees by the deadline stated in your off er and fees notice
7. Apply for a Canadian Study Permit
