Title: Luas Terminus, Dublin
Contractor: Siac Construction
Description:
This project involved the construction of a
King Post Wall for a Luas Terminus in close
proximity to the Luas tramway.
Holes were bored in the granite bedrock at
400mm diameter. The hole was then part
filled with concrete and a steel column was
set in place to allow the main contractor,
Siac Construction, to excavate and place in
precast concrete panels to support a deep
excavation and install a new water main.
