Newlywed GameContest Registration, Requirements & Rules
1. How to Enter the Contest:
a. The King George Fall Festival (KGFF) Game Night will begin at
6:00 pm on Friday,6 November 2015 at King George Middle School
(KGMS) 8246 Dahlgren Rd, King George, VA22485. Drop off
registration, biography and copy proof of marriage at King George
Fire &Rescue Headquarters located near KGMS no later than
Friday, 30 October 20] 5.
b. To participate in the contest, visit KGMS Auditorium on
Friday, 6 November 2015 at4:00 PM. Stop by the KGFF table to
receive a Newlywed Game raffle ticket. To receive araffle tickets,
entrants must be 18 years of age or older, married for 2 years or
less, King Georgeresident, one male and female, present proof of
age and proof of marriage. Raffle tickets will notbe given out past
4:20 PM, no exceptions.
c. There is a limit of one raffle ticket per person; however,
each person in a couple mayreceive one raffle ticket. At 4:30 pm,
four (4) winning tickets will be drawn. Entrants must bepresent to
win. Those individuals possessing winning tickets will be invited,
with their spouse, toparticipate in the KGFF Newlywed Game.
d. Ifpossessor of winning ticket is not present, another ticket
will be drawn. If twomembers of a couple are both in possession of
a winning ticket, one ticket will be rendered voidand an alternate
entrant will be drawn.
e. Couples with the winning ticket must submit:
(1) Game Night admittance ticket fee(2) Completed and Signed
Registration Form(3) Biography(4) Proof of Marriage
Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the
station. Fol1owing theselection ofthe four (4) participant couples,
the KGFF Newlywed Game will take place atKGMS Auditorium 8246
Dahlgren Rd, King George, VA 22485.
2. Prizes:

a. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree
to have their name, voice,or likeness used in any advertising or
broadcasting material relating to this contest withoutadditional
financial or other compensation.
Husband Initial
a. All prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the
completion of the KGFFNewlywed Game contest. Any prize or prize
certificate not claimed will be automaticallyforfeited by the
winner.
b. Prizes will be awarded as is, with no written or express
warranty.
3. Selection of Winners:
a. Following the selection of four participating couples, the
four couples will beseparated, with the women appearing on stage
and the men taken to a secluded, sound-proofedarea. The women will
each be asked four questions, 3 round-one questions and 1 bonus
roundquestion, their answers must be given out loud to the KGFF
emcee. Following the question andanswer of all four questions, the
men will return to the stage. They will each be asked the same
3round-one questions that were presented to the women. If the men's
answers match the women'sanswers, they will receive 5 points per
each correct answer. If their answer does not match, theywill not
receive any points. Following the completion of the three questions
and answers, thewomen will be removed to the secluded,
sound-proofed area and the men will remain on stage toanswer four
questions, 3 round-two questions and 1 bonus round question. The
second round willfollow the same outline as round one. Following
round two, both the women and the men willremain on stage with
their partner and will each be asked the bonus round question by
the eventemcee. Persons who match their partner's answer in the
bonus round will receive 10 points each.
b. There is a total of 50 points available. At the end of the
game, the team with thehighest number of total points will be named
the grand prize winner.
c. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker question will be asked of the
tied couples. The tie-breakerquestion will be final.
d. The odds of winning entry into the contest is dependant on
the number of entriesreceived. The odds of winning the contest is
one in four.
4. Conditions:
b. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify
the contest rules and dates atany time for any reason. Material
modifications shall be announced on-line at King George
FallFestival website, when practical. By participating in this
contest, you agree to be bound by thesecontest rules, any
modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by sponsor.

circumstances beyond the control of sponsor, any event
associated with this contest or the prizeis delayed, rescheduled,
postponed or cancelled, sponsor reserves the right, but not
theobligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be
required to award a substitute prize.
c. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a
contestant's disqualification, atthe sole discretion of
sponsor.
d. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater
or equal value at its solediscretion.
