What is a community?
A community is where people
live.

All communities are alike in several ways:
They all have physical features like water.

They all have different land forms: flat land, hills, or mountains.
The largest community is a
city.
IN A CITY:
There are many tall buildings.There are many people.The buildings and people are very
close together.There are many places for people to
live, work, and play together.
Another Kind of Community is a
suburb.
A suburb:
is a medium-size commnunity.is located near a large city.has people who travel to a city
for work.
A town is another kind of community.
A town:is the smallest
community.usually has
farmland.has people who
know each other well.

Write a paragraph about the different kinds of communities.
