Is a small icterid blackbird thataverages 18 cm long and weighs34 g. This bird received its name

from the fact that the male's colorsresemble those on the coat-of-armsof Lord Baltimore. At one time, thisspecies and the Bullock's Oriole,Icterus bullockii, were considered tobe a single species called theNorthern Oriole.

Baltimore Orioles forage in trees andshrubs, also making short flights tocatch insects. They mainly eat insects,berries and nectar, and are often seensipping at hummingbird feeders.

Is a bird in the crane family Gruidae. Itoccurs in dry savannah in Africa southof the Sahara, although it nests insomewhat wetter habitats. Thisanimal does not migrate. The GreyCrowned Crane is about 1 m (3.3 ft)

This species and the closelyrelated Black Crowned Craneare the only cranes that canroost in trees, because of along hind toe that can grasp
