Observations of the WorkingGroup
Proposed plan is showing that there is a proposedoad for commuters coming from Ka^hmiri Gateowards Khajuri and the same is 7 mtr wide. Myubmission is that, two lane is not adequate, as
ot of traffic voJume is coming from this roadowards Khajuri hence it should be at least fourane.
Shastrf Park Red light toward Old ton Bridge areais highly encroached and roads are incapableaccording to current traffic volume therefore, youare requested to widen the roadMf the vicinityand remove the encroachment

Recommendation:• <•
Working Group recommended the proposal for consideration of the Govemirg Bodyaccordingly.: '
PWD should ensure geometricfeatures will be taken up as perthe prevailing standardguidelines/codes.
Wherever loops and roads are merging you
have to increase the width of the road and thesame should continue to certain length as perrequirement. I have noted everywhere in Delhi
that, almost in every location, wherever traffic ismerging there is a problem in design causing jamand slow traffic. Therefore you are requested toplease ensure the same for smooth traffic.
