Monday Reading DECODE WORDS YOU WILL!
Phonics Lessons: The next 3 slides, have students chop out the sounds of the words. Here are some ways of getting them to s-t-r-e-t-ch out the sounds:
*Turn off the lights. Use a laser pen or small flashlight to shine on a word to decode.
*Compete: Team 1 read the blue words vs. Team 2 read the green words.
*Read line 1, do 10 exercises. Read line 2, do 10 exercises, etc.
*Set a timer: Read the blue words 1st, then read the green words. See which time is better.

Tuesday, May 5 Social Studies Lesson
Follow Monday’s slides. Two pages I would like to see are Pages 10 and 11 of the Kindergarten Rocks document. I’d like to send it on to their 1st grade teachers.
You can insert the slide into your own slides completed, take a picture of the completed pages and send it to me so I can forward them to their 1st grade teachers once they are assigned.
