• Skills often seen at the beginning of Kindergarten

• Skills students should be able to do by January of Kindergarten

• Skills students should be able to do by June of Kindergarten

• Identify some letters of the alphabet

• Grip a pencil correctly• Use scissors, glue, and paint with

relative ease• Repeat full name, address, and

telephone number• Play independently or focus on

one activity for up to ten minutes
