Kindergarten Orientation It was wonderful to begin our Kindergarten Orientation last week. Our new students adapted very quickly to the classroom. They engaged in the lessons, listened carefully and made new friends quickly. They told me they are all looking forward to returning this week, as are we.

West Wyalong Middle School If your Year four or five student is interested in attending West Wyalong middle school program in 2020 please let the school know as soon as possible. Thank you to parents who have notified us, Tracey will keep you updated with information as it comes to hand.

School Assembly and Captain Speeches Our next school assembly will be held at 2.00pm on Friday 22nd November. Year Five students will be making their 2020 Captain Election Speech. All students will have the opportunity to vote, the School Captain and Leadership Team will be inducted at the Presentation Night.

School Attendance Please remember to notify the school if your child is going to be, or has been, absent from school. If the school isn’t notified an Absentee Note will be sent home for you to complete. Please return the note within six days otherwise they will be marked as an ‘unexplained’ absence.

Court Surface Our new court is looking good, we are hoping it will be finished this week and the students will be playing on it the week after.

School Sores – Impetigo A reminder to all parents that we have had a reported case of school sores. In line with the Health NSW recommendations please; seek medical guidance if your child has contracted school sores and please notify the school. Children with impetigo should be kept home from school or other group settings if their wounds cannot be kept covered until 24 hours after antibiotic treatment has been started, or until the blisters have dried out if antibiotics are not used.
