MIDDLE MATHEMATICS TASK 3 - ADDITION Go for a walk in the garden with someone from your family and take two containers with you. Collect five natural objects in your container and ask your family member to collect five different objects. How many objects did you find altogether? TASK 4 MATHS - POSITION Read through the Teddy Bear position cards (found in the learning pack). Using your own teddy bear or toy use the cards to play a position game. Parent/career calls out a card (e.g. The teddy is on the table) and the student must place their teddy in the correct position. Complete the ‘What’s the Position’ worksheet.

questions.

MATHEMATICS TASK 3 - NUMBER Before and after numbers Complete the before and after worksheet. Fill in the numbers that come before and the numbers that come after.

TASK 4 – SPEECH Categorising Animals - Watch the video posted on seesaw featuring our speech pathologist Miss Nicole then complete the learning activity using the attached worksheets.

MATHEMATICS TASK 3 - NUMBER Ordinal numbers. Pick ten of your favourite toys and line them up as if they are having a race. On small pieces of paper write the numbers 1st,2nd, 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th and 10th

And then put the paper next to the correct toy in the race.

Then you can draw ten fish in a swimming race and write the numbers next to the fish. TASK 4 - RFF Complete the RFF - pronouns worksheet in the learning pack.

PDHPE TASK 5 - Watch the story online about your feelings. Happy and Sad Talk about how we feel when we're happy and how it shows in our face. Sing the song "If You're Happy and You Know It." Let children look in the mirror and make a happy face. If you're happy and you know it, show a smile. If you're happy and you know it, show a smile. If you're happy and you know it, and you really want to show it, If you're happy and you know it, show a smile.

Repat by children looking in the mirror making a sad face.

If you're sad and you know it,

cry BOO-HOO.

CREATIVE ARTS TASK 5 - Use the template provided, cut and fold to make a house (see picture). Colour in the front of the house. On the inside, draw your family. Send a photo of your artwork to your teacher.

PDHPE TASK 5 – Today we are going to practice our movement skills. Do the following things: 20 star jumps 20 hops 20 touching toes bending from the waist Run around your back yard or front yard as fast as you can. Then skip around, then jump around, then side step around. Play a chasing game with your family.

Finish up with 3 dances from Koo Koo Kangaroo on youtube.

HISTORY TASK 5 -

For History this term we are learning about families. Today we will start by looking at your own

families.

How many people are there in your family? Who are the people in your family? What are their names? Who lives in your house? Have a look at some family photos around your house, who can you see? Draw a picture of all of the people in your family and label each person. Use the picture to explain to someone in your home who each member of the family is and how they are related (for example, mother, grandfather). Send your teacher a photograph of your drawing or maybe you could make a video telling them who you have drawn.

MATHEMATICS TASK 3 - ADDITION Lady Beetle Game: Instructions

1. Cut out the 12 black dots, the number cards (1 to 12). Alternatively, students can roll two dice instead of using the number cards. 2. Provide the student with a lady beetle, the dots, the number cards or dice and the symbol cards. 3. Students pick two number cards. 4. Students add the two numbers from the number cards or dice, then place the corresponding number of dots onto the lady beetle.

TASK 4 MATHS – POSITION Take turns blindfolding different people in your family and guiding them around the house or the garden using positional language. E.g. walk forward, step to the left, turn right, walk backwards. Ask someone to blindfold you and guide you from your kitchen to your bedroom.

MATHEMATICS TASK 3 - ADDITION Complete the ‘Picture Addition’ worksheet. Count the pictures and solve the addition problem. You can colour the pictures once you have finished. TASK 4 Play a board or card game with your family. Perhaps you could play dominoes or snakes and ladders.

MATHEMATICS TASK 3 NUMBER In your scrap book or on a piece of paper write the numbers as high as you can go. Start at number 1 and keep going until you can’t think of anymore. Make sure the numbers are the right way around. Make sure your writing is neat and careful. When you have finished read the numbers to someone at your house. Write a sentence about the weather and something you are going to do or have done today. For example: Today it is sunny. I am going to play outside.

PDHPE TASK 5 - Create and do an obstacle course together !! You can use hula-hoops to jump in and out of, draw lines to walk along (you can use chalk for outdoors and tape for indoors), and have things they can crawl on or under.
