Maximise your child’s success with the internationally recognised examinations Cambridge

phonics at home with your child in

a fun and memorable way. You will learn to say

and form the 42 letter sounds accurately and

learn how to support your child’s learning of letter

sounds, alternative spellings and tricky words.

The course will be conducted in English. Participants need to take an English entry test and achieve at least pre-intermediate level in order to take the course.

Letters and Sounds and Jolly Phonics. Through fun

and multi-sensory activities, children will learn the

Your child’s first step into reading!

We use fun and engaging tools such as

an alphabet box and sand boxes, and activities

such as singing songs, decorating letters with

objects and making crafts to expose them to the

world of letters and sounds. They will develop their

love for reading as they escape into imaginary

worlds of fantasy through listening to their teacher

read stories to them.

New students taking Primary 1 to Secondary 6, IELTS Language Preparation Programme, IELTS Coach

and Cambridge Exam Preparation courses must take an English entry test at our Customer Services

Centres in Admiralty or Tsim Sha Tsui. New students taking Phonics courses (K2–P1) must take a phonics

assessment at our Customer Services Centre in Admiralty. You can book the test in person or online at

www.britishcouncil.hk/en/english/book-course or by phone on 2913 5100 up to 14 days before

your preferred test day.

Cost: HK$90 (non-refundable). Please pay by EPS or credit card. We do not accept cheques or cash.

Please contact us if you would like to apply for an exemption to the Cambridge Exam Preparation

course English entry test.
