We wanted to expose the real meaning of mixed-use by intrinsic architecture element to get out of general mixed-use building that has just variety programs. In capacity of the method, we are suggesting mixed wall that has diverse programs and induce the transition of space by wall. Each wall is standing for the part of urban, culture, and commercial and etc. This each category will connect to space by diverse wall that has each segmentalized program and each wall will perform in their position. Our building contains 7 catagories. In this one of the catagory is energy part. We wanted to put lots of energy system in our multi-complex. We divided into artifical energy part and natu- ral energy part. In the artifical part we put some solar panels, rain-use system, and windmill. In the natural energy part we designed lots of garden, green wall, and ventilation wall. For exam- ple, if the program doesnt need any facade and heating system for the program, we leaved it open and walls ventilation will be very flexible. When we think about Mixed use buildings that located in Korea, we generally think about a big mass and featureless elevation. And it had to break the flow of the city because of its massive body. Many cultural complex facilities built in subway station or train stations. We would like to design complex facilities with a lot of open space and greenery, and programs that holds the diversity of the site, ShinChon.Therefore we thought that we need the placement of a small buildings and there were connected to the idea of high and narrow buildings. In the future, our program will expand to the near area. To the commercial site or to the uni- versity, etc. it can spread to any kind of spaces. Each program have dif- ferent and characterestic spaces. Our site has a train station in the middle of the site. The existing topography and station is dividing the site into two areas. We put many energy system in our project. Since the multi-used complex building has lots of programs and they takes lots of energy. Therefore we wanted make lots of energy sys-tem to down the energy use.

WINDMILL:wind Ŗ ows into the windmill and makes energy

RAINUSE: by collecting rain, rai-nuse system cleans the water and provide to the building

SOLAR PANEL: solar panels’ are on the north side of the building. e panel collects the sun.

VENTILATION:the air Ŗ ows because of the open structure

GREEN WALL: in the summer, the green wall gives building the cool air

GARDEN: garden makes the space fresh and cool down the climate
