Dance Divas P4/3P4/3 have had a great time learning how to create their own dances. Andrew and Sophie said, “ Last month we did some Peter Pan dancing and we had 4 parts. They were shadowing, boats, flying, sea

creatures. Our dance teacher Louise was fantastic and we loved putting on a

show for P1-3.”

Supervision Before 9AMPlease note that there is limited

supervision in the school before 9am. Therefore, for safety reasons, on wet

mornings the doors will not open before 8.50am, when either Mrs.

Sommerville and Mrs Doyle will be available. Please do not bring children

to school too early, as shelter in the playground is very limited.

WEATHERWATCHPlease note, should there be any

uncertainty about the school opening/closing due to adverse weather conditions, parents can

access up to date information through the Weather Watch icon

on the school website main page. News is also available from

Renfrewshire Council’s website www. renfrewshire.gov.uk or by

calling 0141 842 5546. Please ensure mobile numbers are also up to date as we will text parents

should an early closure be required. May I also remind

parents that we encourage pupils to go out to play as much as

possible and they should therefore dress appropriately for

the weather conditions.

P1- Going on a Bear HuntWe really enjoyed our recent visit to

RSPB Lochwinnoch. We ventured through squelchy mud, long grass and a forest. We visited the loch,

just like in the story. We loved finding the owl homes and fishing for

pond creatures! By P1

“Name it Day”We will be having a surprise

“Name it Day” this month. Please help your child to label all clothing.

We still have items in lost property but the amount is now greatly reduced. If you have any school uniform missing, please

come in and have a look.

We have started to collect Tubs4Tablets tokens. For every 50 tokens we collect from special packs of Flora and Stork

margarine we will be able to claim a free Samsung Galaxy Tablet. We will be able

to use these as part of our ongoing library and I.T. improvements in the school. The

Eco Committee wish to thank all who handed in items of school uniform for recycling. These were displayed at the SWISH event and at the two parents’

evenings. The committee were glad to see that some items were taken for reuse and appreciated all donations. £18 at the SWISH event and £11.55 at the parents’

nights, which will be used for ECO events or playground games.
