CALLING ALL ERMUC FLOWER BEDS GARDENERS....

Thank you for last year’s attractive ERMUC flower beds that were enjoyed by all and a symbol of the Lord’s many wonders. With spring’s arrival, we once again look forward to your skill in bringing forth the beauty in the beds. The outside taps have been turned on and the hoses, if needed, are in the outside storage locker. The custodian can unlock the locker if needed. Two beds need gardeners: the small bed in front of the covered drive through; and the terraced beds to the west of the new addition by the concrete steps. Both require the occasional weeding, pruning and fall clean-up. Individual(s) interested in looking after one or both of the beds, please contact Gordon Bell, Property Coordinator at [email protected] or leave a message at 613-384-2438.

We are asking for everyone’s cooperation in keeping the ERMUC fire doors closed when not in use. These doors are

clearly marked around the premises with large signage. If you temporarily prop one of these doors open for air flow, to move equipment, etc, we ask that you please ensure that same is closed upon your departure. We want to do our best to work with and accommodate the unique needs of every rental and user group of ERMUC, however, we need some cooperation from all parties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility. Our failure to comply with these fire code restrictions could result in sanctions enforced by third parties, which in turn could result in an increase in user fees or even limit our ability to continue the unique user and rental agreements that we have in place for tenants and members. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and understanding. Should you have any questions with respect to this email or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. If I am unable to answer your question directly, I will be able to link you with the right contact person. This notice has been provided to all renters and user groups of Edith Rankin Memorial United Church. Please feel free to share with members and visitors. We all need to be responsible.
