Kickin’ Achievement: Sister Golds’ at Poomsae Nationals! The McKew sisters, 10 and 8, are fanatical about taekwondo. Jodie and Jessie (left to right) both took up training in the summer of 2012, taking to the art and sport like ducks to water. The talented sister-act are members of Maghberry Taekwondo Club in Northern Ireland, and are currently ready to grade for their black tag. The McKew sisters, who have competed and medalled in many competitions, work exceptionally hard to achieve. Jodie McKew was even named Junior Sports Personality of the Year by Craigavon Sports Awards, 2014. The girls’ work paid again at the recent National Poomsae, Freestyle & Para Championships 2015. Both put on exceptional performances to receive gold in individual categories, as well as achieving gold for their team. Jodie and Jessie were delighted then, to receive a letter indicating their selection as part of our National Poomsae Squad 2015, U11 division. Got a Kickin’ Achiever in mind? Kickin’ Achievement:Sister Golds’ at Poomsae Nationals!

The McKew sisters, 10 and 8, are fanatical about taekwondo.

Jodie and Jessie (left to right) both took up training in the summer of 2012, taking to the art and sport like ducks to water.

The talented sister-act are members of Maghberry Taekwondo Club in Northern Ireland, and are currently ready to grade for their black tag. The McKew sisters, who have competed and medalled in many competitions, work exceptionally hard to achieve. Jodie McKew was even named Junior Sports Personality of the Year by Craigavon Sports Awards, 2014.
