Wp 1: Context analysis

Objectives: - To know the real situation of the level of adaptation to the multifunctionality of the farms in the participating countries;- To study and define the most suitable methodologies for the target group;- To study the professional qualification level of the potential users of this product;- To obtain information about their learning and training habits;- To identify what knowledge and skills are lacking and which are needed to make easier the adaptation to the multifunctionality;- To outline, by means of questionnaires, strengths and opportunities, criticality and threats of the adaptation to the multifunctionality experiences of young farmers.

Wp 1: Context analysis

Activities:

- Survey about multifunctionality state of the art in Europe; - Research about the economical and social profile of the young farmers that have adapted to multifunctionality their farms in the context of the involved countries. The information will be gathered by means of questionnaires and interviews. CEJA will be responsible of getting the partners in touch with the farmers associations;

Deliverables:Survey: “The Multifunctionality State of the art”Dossier “The Economic, Social and Training profile of young farmers in Europe”, developed by the partners following the results of the analysis about the young farmers profile.

Wp 2: New case studies and best practices definition

Objectives:

- to gather a set of Case Studies that will base the contents of the teaching units of the Training System;

- to adapt and broaden the Training System developed in the preview project in order to make it applicable to the new project context.

Wp 2: New case studies and best practices definition

Activities:

- define the minimum criteria and parameters of case studies analysis;- editing of the questionnaires;- selection of good practices;- interview with the person in charge of each farm;- final conclusions about each studied farm;- design of the structure of the training system starting from the selected case studies;- Editing of the “Teaching Guide for trainers”

Wp 3: Testing and adjustment of the Training System

Objectives:

- to test the efficiency of the training system and the acceptance of the users;- to obtain information useful to realise adjustments of the training system model;- to test the efficiency of the methodologies;- to verify the project quality.

Wp 3: Testing and adjustment of the Training System

Activities:

- to carry out pilot tests of the training system:the test will involve a young farmers sample contacted through the CEJA network;

- to adjust the training system according to the results of the pilot tests
