SOUP SUNDAY TODAY After the 11am service in the Cafe Over winter on the second Sunday of the month we are having Soup Sunday! Why not invite someone new to Beach to join you?
GROW THROUGH GALATIANS In June, we are going through a series at our morning services on the book of Galatians. Join us on the journey as we discover freedom again and how we GROW in this relationship with God. There is a devotional and lifegroup series to help get into it!
GREATEST SERMON EVER? 7pm, Sundays, Beach Campus A new three-week series launching at Beach Nights. Join us for worship, kai and community as we look at the Sermon on the Mount and the impact it has on our lives.

HANDS OF COMPASSION 7.30pm, Mon 17 June, City Campus A local mission opportunity for individuals and lifegroups to demonstrate God’s love by serving the most needy members of our local communities. Our emphasis will be toward widows, single parents, elderly, poor and disabled. We need people to do yardwork, odd jobs, plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry and more! Come and learn more about how you can help at our info evening!
LIFE BITES FOR WOMEN 10am, Thurs 13 June, Unit 5, City Campus Come and hear Kathleen Maier share about her recent trip to India and be inspired! Children and babies welcome.
MARRIAGE PREP COURSE Starting 7pm, June 18, $30 per couple A five-week course teaching helpful skills to build a strong marriage. Topics include communicating effectively, resolving conflict, meeting emotional needs, building a friendship, developing a sexual relationship, goals and values. Couples work together on material, no group work. Register online at grace.org.nz
KINGDOM BUSINESS BREAKFAST 7am, Fri 21 June, City Campus, $10 If you’re a business owner, or want to know how you can extend the kingdom in your work place then come and join us! Guest speaker Shaun Balemi from Agvance will be sharing with us. Register at grace.org.nz
SATURDAY SOAK 10.30am, Sat 22 June, City Campus For mums and ladies from all campuses looking to soak in God’s presence. Come from 10.30am for coffee and chats then we will worship together from 11am-12pm. No kids program available.
SCHOOL OF WORSHIP 27-29 June, City Campus The School of Worship is designed to equip worshippers with the theological, practical and personal skills required to play and lead worship effectively. In its fifth year running, the school has seen numerous worshippers from across New Zealand released to lead their congregations in vibrant worship. Go to gracevineyardmusic.com to register.

FOOD ITEMS NEEDED Thank you for your on-going support! At the moment we especially need weetbix, toothpaste, soap, canned fruit and tinned fish. If you can help please place your donation in the food boxes by reception or call 379 2329. Food collected goes to Compassion Trust where it is used to support individuals and families who are working on their budgeting to get out of debt. A small part goes to emergency situations.
YOUNG ADULTS WINTER RETREAT 12-14 July, Hanmer Springs All 18-35 year olds are invited to our Young Adults Winter Retreat. It’s going to be a super casual and fun weekend away. Grab a group of mates or get your Lifegroup together and organise booking a house, food and transport amongst youselves! If you’re not in a Lifegroup or would like a hand connecting with a cool group of people, email Rhoda or let us know at the Info Desk. TABLE TALK 7pm, Tues 25 June, XCHC, 376 Wilsons Rd Table Talk is an all-in night for the young adults (18-35yrs) of Grace Vineyard Church! Join us for our second Table Talk night for the year as we explore the topic of ‘The Word’. Come along for free mulled wine from 6.30pm.
PRAYER FOR THE GOVERNMENT 7-8am, Wednesdays, Auditorium In 1 Timothy Paul urges us to pray for all those in authority, “that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” Please join us on Wednesday mornings to pray for our governement and nation.
HOSPITALITY TEAM Do you love to cook, bake or entertain? If so, you probably have a gift of hospitality. We have lots of opportunities in church to help you grow in your gift. Please see or email Sue on [email protected] if you want to help out with baking, cooking or hospitality.

I’M NEW We’d love to meet you! We have programs for 1 year olds (9am only), 2-3 year olds in rooms close by, and Primary, for age 4-10. Intermediates and Youth are at the Seafield building across Beresford Rd. All kids under 11 must be signed into their programs. Our crew will help direct you! We would love to meet you in our Welcome Lounge after our service. Here you will be able to get a barista coffee, morning tea and meet some of our team. Our next Newcomers Gathering will be at 12.30pm, Sun 30 June in the Beach Cafe.
