Description:

This project aims at providing complete solution for implementing an in vehicle infotainment system. Separate modules such as – Vehicle, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Address Book, Messaging, Audio ,Radio, Media and Speech etc. are being developed under this project. I have worked in the Audio, Radio, Media, Messaging and Speech modules

Roles & Responsibilities:

Developing the Messaging application layer.

Developing Unit Test Cases for the module using GTest.

Development of customized Base Widgets in Qt.

Development of UI for the Audio, Radio, Media modules in QML.

Writing Tests cases for the UI layer and also writing stubs to test it.

Log analysis of defects reported by customers and fixing them.

Highlights:

Several onsite experiences in France and Germany for a common integration workshops and representing the team at client site for durations of up to one month.

Jointly developing the UI and Application layer and hence getting hands on into both core Qt and QML.

Played a major role in the redesigning of the messaging module which gave me exposure to the various design patterns & principles.

Leading a team of 3-4 people currently as a module lead and training new joiners.
