ABOUT US Founded in 2010 by Bianca Phumzile Williams and Mphakamisi Ramesh Masina, Khulisani Foundation is a registered non-profit and public benefit organisation. Our focus is consciousness development through

knowledge of self.

We have programs that talk to the essence of the African child and offer organisations the opportunity to fuel this vehicle for social change in order to drive positive transformation around South African

communities.

As an organisation, we have an extensive reach which expands to every province in the country. We have a database of over 20 000 learners, 200 educators and headmasters. Our online reach is over 200 000

people and we pride ourselves as an organisation that is in touch and most relevant to S. A’s youth culture.

The Founders

MPHAKAMISI RAMESH MASINA

My mother tells me I was born with so much white hair, that when she held me in her arms for the first time, she thought it was powder and tried to blow it off. I am an old soul. On that day, 24 December, as the Sun, Earth and stars (Orion’s Belt) were aligning, I was given the

names Mphakamisi (The Up lifter) and Ramesh (The Preserver). Ever since then, I have been on a constantly treacherous quest to live up to my names. My passion is fuelled by my

pioneering spirit and I have continuously stood for the upliftment and preservation of purity in the arts, family structure and community in all I do.

PHUMZILE BIANCA WILLIAMS

Bianca is a young woman inspired by South African stories and experiences. Her exposure to travelling the landscape of the country has brought her understanding of true holistic

development for the communities, with a particular emphasis on women and the youth. From an early age, she has always been musical, expressive and keen to teach others. Her passion

has led her to self-development on her social development journey. She is also a performance artist with TV experience, lending her voice and presence to various campaigns and performances. With a Corporate Communications degree, Bianca’s strength lies in her

ability to create invested relationships with stakeholders, implementing programs and being the example of an active agent for positive change.
