The undersigned is directed to circulate the Vacancy Circular No

§/7/2019-Admn/12927 dated 7 October,2019 received from National Water

Development Agency, Ministry of Jal Shakti who proposes to fill up one post of

Chief Engineer (level-II) in Level 13(A) of Pay Matrix (Rs. 131100-216600/-)

in the National Water Development Agency on deputation (including Short

Term Contract/promotion basis from amongst the suitable and willing ~ officers

It is proposed to fill up one post of Chief Engineer (Level-II) in Level- _ > I3(A) of Pay Matrix (Rs.131100-2 16600/-) in the National Water Development Agency on deputation (Including Short Term Contract) / promotion basis from amongst the suitable and willing “officers under the Ministries / Departments of the Central/State Govts. /Union Territories/Semi Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory or Autonomous Organizations / Engineering Universities/ Research and Development Organizations, holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or with 2 years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto in the Level-13 (Rs.123100- 215900/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, and possessing Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent, and possessing experience in the applied research in the field of irrigation and water utilization and /or experience in surveys, investigations, designs, preparation of irrigation projects, construction, operation and maintenance of irrigation projects/works. The departmental Director (Technical) with 2 years regular service in the grade will also be considered and in case he is selected for appointment to the post, the same shall be deemed to have been filled up by promotion. The departmental officers will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation (Including Short Term Contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of application”.
