16th December 2016 KS2 Football: Girls and Boys Top of the League Despite the absence of several regular first team players our Year 5 and 6 boys and girls teams both go into the Christmas break top of their leagues, after four wins from four matches on Tuesday. Our girls began with a 6-0 win against Netley, with the captain, Yara, scoring an incredible 6 goals! This was followed by a 1-0 win against St Aloysius, thanks to another goal from Yara and some brilliant defend- ing from the rest of the team. The girls are guaranteed at least second place in the Regent High League, and a place in the Camden Champions League in March. They will win the league title if they avoid de- feat in their final match of the season. Our boys beat Netley 2-0, with goals from Dren and Amine. They then beat previously un- defeated St Aloysius 1-0 with a great goal from Omar. The boys are also top of their League with one game to play. Congratulations to both teams for some heroic performances! Key Stage 2 Christmas Show On Tuesday, the children in KS2 performed our Christ- mas show, ‘When Sasha got Swept up the Chimney’. Year 5 were the stars of the show as they took on the acting roles and performed like professionals. A special mention needs to go to Gloria, Suadi, Zara K and Janna for singing their solo parts so beautifully. Zara C, our sound engineer, was faultless in managing the sound and it was a real team effort as the penguins, reindeer and elves from each class sang brilliantly. Thank you so much to the parents and carers who came along to sup- port the show. It was a wonderful way to end the term.

Key Stage 2 Christmas Show

On Tuesday, the children in KS2 performed our Christ-

mas show, ‘When Sasha got Swept up the Chimney’.

Year 5 were the stars of the show as they took on the

for singing their solo parts so beautifully. Zara C, our

sound engineer, was faultless in managing the sound

and it was a real team effort as the penguins, reindeer

and elves from each class sang brilliantly. Thank you so

much to the parents and carers who came along to sup-

port the show. It was a wonderful way to end the term.

Access to the School

The Building Contractors and Local Au-thority this week informed us that they will be doing everything they can to ensure the Camden Street and Bayham Place en-trances to the school will be back in use as soon as possible. They have indicated that we should be able to re-use these en-trances from the week beginning the 16th January 2017. As soon as we get back from the holidays, we should be able to confirm this with you.

On behalf of all the staff we wish you a peaceful holiday and a very Happy Christ-mas to all of our families who are celebrat-ing it. We wish you all a Happy new Year and look forward to seeing you again on

Wednesday 4th January 2017.
