Responsibilities in IBM INDIA

Administration of multiple SAN/NAS Storage Arrays (EMC) and Fabrics (McData & Bro-cade).

Cabling and connecting servers to SAN. Creating Zone Configuration, Adding and Removing Zones from Zone Configura-

tion. Configuring CIFS shares and NFS mountpoints on NAS. Performing lun management, metaluns, raid groups, storage groups and hypers. Managing storage allocations for AIX platforms, VIO and windows servers. Designing and configuring disk data replication mechanisms. Managing and monitoring SAN performance and capacity. Managing SAN hardware and software upgrades and break/fix activities. Manage relationship with SAN vendor EMC, provide support for production SAN

issues. Interacting with customers to define requirements, develop and deliver solutions. Monitoring and analyzing performance statistics to produce recommendations for the
