Within the compartment walls a number of private office spaces and a meeting room were formed, complete with door height glazed panels. A full decoration package was undertaken, decorating all existing and newly formed areas. New carpet tile flooring was laid throughout on the first floor, and vinyl flooring was laid on the ground floor. Suspended ceilings were installed in designated areas, along with exposed electrical and mechanical installations, including a HVAC system complete with climate control.

SEC sourced, delivered and installed a variety of furnishings, including desking complete with screen dividers, one side pinnable - the other a white board. An assortment of storage units were also installed: mobile pedestals and drawer cabinets, along with a large board room table which was fitted in the conference room.

A new tea-point was installed on the first floor, with a breakout bench for staff to enjoy a time-out break. The kitchen installation was complete with all necessary fixtures, integrated appliances and vinyl flooring to finish.

This in turn allowed for an increase to the ground floor technical services and logistics areas underneath the structure. The mezzanine, conforming to all requirements of BRE Digest 437, was completed with strut bracing to prevent lateral movement and to provide extra foundational stability.

Several compartment walls were then installed on the first and ground floor, with one wall extending and co-joining with the existing, first floor perimeter wall. General stud and board partitioning was used to form fire rated compartment walls, enclosing the new extended first floor office space.

ETC is a global leader in the manufacture of lighting and rigging technology for entertainment and architectural applications.

ETC was looking to reconfigure its London-based, industrial office facility, expanding its capacity to meet the needs of a developing team. The company called upon SEC Interiors expertise to craft an all-in-one solution, combining practicality with aesthetics. To begin, SEC designed, supplied and installed a single-tier mezzanine floor within the facility, to extend the existing first floor office space.
