Regional Cross Country Congratulations to Rihanna, Jed and Emma for making it to Regional Cross Country. We are very proud of you representing our school. Prep enrolments for 2019 We are having quite a lot of interest in our Prep year level for 2019, which is very exciting. I really need our existing families to get their enrolments in as soon as possible to help with working out class options. Thank you for your cooperation. Bendigo Bank Grant We would like to thank Monbulk Bendigo Bank for their generous grant of $1500 to go towards Art equipment. The bank’s generosity is incredible and we are very fortunate to have such a community- minded business in Monbulk. We are very proud to be doing our banking with them. Grafitti on McAlister Hall Unfortunately, on Sunday we had some teenagers come in to the school and
tag our hall. Our students were extremely disappointed that this had happened to their school. We would greatly appreciate it if you could keep an eye on the school out of hours to help prevent damage to the school, especially with the school holidays coming up! I have reported the incident to the police. Parent Teacher Interviews Tomorrow your child’s report will be going out and I would like to thank the teachers for the many hours they have spent writing them. If you haven’t already booked in for a Parent/Teacher Interview that is happening next week, please see your child’s teacher. The interviews are a very important time for you to discuss your child’s progress. Absences The Department of Education has now made it a legal requirement that student absences are to be notified to the school on the day of absence. This has been reinforced for the safety of every child in the school. Some parents have been very diligent in ringing first thing in the morning and leaving a message. For those who haven’t it is important that you do this. If your child is marked as absent and we haven’t heard from you, we will be making a courtesy call from 11:30am onwards.

Music Performance
Congratulations to all the students who performed at the Music Concert on Tuesday 12th June. Your
talents shone as you played your chosen instruments. Well done to Alex C and Mitchell C for being the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the night.
I would like to take the opportunity, as this is the last Monny Mag for the term, to thank all the teachers for their hard work this term, students for taking responsibility for their learning and to the parents for their support to the school. Hot Food Lunch Cut off for ordering your lunch is at 4pm on the Monday before Hot Food Lunch Day.
Next Hot Food Lunch Day 26th July
Term 3 Hot Food Lunch Day will be available every 2nd week. Menu items may change each week.
QKR menu will be open to take orders on 16th July and close 4pm on 23rd July.

LOST PROPERTY
There is a collection of jew-ellery and a phone that has been handed into the school office. We would love to reunite the items with their owners.
SRC BLANKET COLLECTION The SRC are collecting old blankets to donate to a homeless shelter. Donations may be deliv-ered to the school office. If you would like to donate please hand your blankets in ASAP as the weather is now cold and we can help keep the homeless warm this win-ter. Ella and Ava SRC
Bottle Tops
The art room is collecting bottle tops. Any sort, water bottle, juice bottle, milk bottle. Mrs Clarkson has great plans for a work of art. Your donation can be dropped into the Art Room.
Update Your QKR App!!
There has been changes to improve the running of the QKR app. Update the App on your phone to benefit from the upgrades. As of 6th June some of the older versions will not work. If you are still having troubles after you’ve up-dated or your phone does not support the QKR App you can also access QKR via the website https://qkr.mastercard.com/store/
