UNC Larry Keith Advisor of Williamson College As one of 12 official college advisors for the UNC School of Medicine, each year from 2008 – 2013 I advised 16 students in each class (64 students total each year) in all aspects of their medical student education. Residents and Fellows: UNC Department of Emergency Medicine Vice Chair for Academic Affairs I currently serve as the Vice Chair for Academic Affairs, a position that oversees all educational efforts within our department as well as responsibilities for faculty development and health care system wide engagement in areas of education and processes of care. UNC Emergency Medicine Residency Director I served as Residency Director for the Emergency Department from 2009 - 2015. The Emergency Medicine Residency Program is a three-year training program with 10 residents per year, 30 total residents. I was responsible for designing and monitoring their clinical and didactic curriculum, mentoring them through the process of becoming an emergency medicine physician, and ensuring that they are competent to care for patients when they graduate from residency. UNC Geriatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Director In June 2012, UNC launched the third Geriatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship in the country.
