1 Rags to RichesWhat is the first thing that comes to you mind when Rags to Riches is mentioned? Of course, we all think of money. From zero to hero. From nothing to something and that something has a fair few zeros before the decimal point. Yet what many don’t realise is that for every successful person (or entity that is made of people) who has gone from rags to riches, every one of them will concur that they managed to earn more because they first went from Rags to Riches in another department. That department was always with them, but there came a point when they realised

peak with anyone today and they will tell you that having witnessed the world go through financial and many natural crises, the ability to earn more money has become imperative for reasons of keeping up with the bills (both on a personal and business level), security to back up an initial source of income, contributing to society at large and even giving back to those who are less fortunate or have been stricken by a natural disaster. I know that most people (including myself) will raise their hand up if an opportunity came about to earn more. Whether it’s a

few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars, we all look forward to being able to effectively and efficiently earn more. Yet many remain in the challenging phase of what I call ‘wanting’. They want to be earning more in their business, but month after month and year after year, things don’t get any better. They are never able to get themselves to the phase of ‘getting’ what they want. What ever your reasons may be to earning more this year, I will share with you six winning thoughts to reflect upon and see how you could apply it, whatever you’re into.

They attained a winning mind both personally and as a group, and their increase of earning was a predictable outcome after that.

2 oppoRtunities aRe plentyThere is no lack of opportunity. There is no lack of resources. Avoid operating

from a place of scarcity. Successful people understand that there is plenty in the world we live in, and within this abundance they are able to earn more by taking a small slice of the pie. You have to believe that. Believe that there is plenty for everyone, and as long as you are open to it, you will see the abundance that there is in our world for you to enjoy your profits whilst others do the same too.

3 DRop youR assumptionsWhat you have known or had believed to hold true may not necessarily be the

case in the world today. May be it never held true in the first place? Maybe things have changed today. Maybe what wasn’t possible a few decades ago is now a reality. Look around you, change is occurring at a super sonic speed, so be prepared to give your assumptions a check up every few months, if not a few weeks. Don’t let preconceived assumptions of sorts that you’ve held for one reason or another hinder your ability to earn more moving forward? You need to open your mind to new things, and new way of doing things. You need to be open to letting go of old thoughts and beliefs.

4 stop with the excusesYou will never run of out excuses as to why you need to wait before you start on making the decision and taking action towards achieving your goals. When it will be the best time to give your 100% mental commitment? There never is a better time than NOW. . If you are serious about earning more, there is never a better time than now to get started. Forget about the past opportunities you’ve missed. Stop talking about what you ‘could’ve’ and ‘should’ve done. Don’t bring the fear of an uncertain future into the equation, because as much as the media likes to hype an uncertain horizon for us in the coming year, the reality of the matter is that life has always been uncertain. You don’t know what will happen tomorrow. You don’t know what will occur in the next hour. Indeed life is uncertain, but somehow we tend to manage. Whether the economy is off to a flying start or freefalling, stop with the excuses and take action. Now is the perfect time. Get out there and make it happen.

5 Busy vs. pRoDuctive.Successful people and unsuccessful people have the same twenty-four hours in a day. Today, most people have equal opportunities to access and use resources. Why is it that most people seem to run around frustrated without achieving much, whilst others seem to fit in so much with ease? Being productive means spending income producing hours every day working towards any chosen task or goal until you bring it to completion. Being productive means doing what it is truly needed to get from A to B. Don’t get trapped

in being busy all day doing the things that don’t really help you earn more. Be productive and do the business.

6 DeciDe anD DeDicateEarning more is a choice, not a chore. Successful people will tell you what that they made a serious decision. After that, they did what ever they had to and committed themselves to achieving their goals of earning more. In short, they followed a principle I teach in my workshops and that is to Decide and Dedicate. All the six thoughts I have shared with you today has to do with your inner world. Where you are today is a result of the quality of your mind (and the quality of the minds in your collective group). In order for you to earn more this year, ensure that you nourish your mind (and that of your group) so that you are in a position to capitalise on an opportunity when it knocks on your door. What could be worse than

not answering the door when oppor-tunity knocks? The fact that many go through their life (and business) never realising opportunity was knocking. Here’s to you having a Winning Month and Earning More This Year.
