CONNECT TO PRINTER

Go to start and click on “Run.” Type in

\\khs-mdf0-as01 and hit “Enter.” Double click the printer you want to print to. Now, the printer will

be connected.

Center

Get a testing slip from your teacher. Make sure it’s

completely filled out and has your teacher’s signature on it. When you get to the testing center, make sure you have your ID. Stamp your slip, sign in, and present the slip to the testing center clerk, Ms. Villegas. When you finish your test, stamp your slip, sign out, and give your

test and slip to Ms. Villegas.

LOCKER

Turn the wheel clockwise to the first number. Turn

the wheel counterclockwise to the second number, but make sure to pass the first

number once. Turn the wheel clockwise to the third

number and open your locker! Or ask an upper-

classman.

VERSWaivers allow you to take tests such as the

SAT and ACT for free and exempt you from

paying for some college applications. You can receive these waivers from your counselor.

If you’re planning for college or have any

questions or issues with your college planning, you can visit Mrs. Tones. She is a special counselor that can help with

anything pertaining to college.

DULE CHANGESIf you have problems

with your schedule, you may go to the counselor to get it

fixed. You can always walk in, but it’s better to email them

ahead of time. The counselors are Mrs. Walls and Mrs. Meadows. Mrs. Walls is

the counselor for last names A – M, and Mrs. Meadows is the counselor for last names N – Z.

DUAL CREDIT

Students who are interested in dual

credit courses may talk to a counselor or Mr. Miller in the distance learning center

(room 328).

ID badges must be worn at all times. If you

need a temporary ID badge, you can buy one for 50 cents at the front office.

If you need to purchase a new ID or center card, you can buy one for $5 at front

office.

TRANSCRIPTSIf you need a

transcript for college applications, you may go to Mrs.

Gazaway in the front office.

ATTENDANCEIf you’re absent for a

day, you need to turn in a letter or note stating

why you were absent to be excused. Absence letters

can be brought to Mrs. Gazaway in the

front office.

Summer Reading Test on September 5 in the English

Center. Spring students need to take the test during any

class period that day.
