Kerr Middle Volume 2, Issue 23 February 11, 2019 This week at Kerr MS: Monday 2/11 Tennis vs. Arlington Heights @Kerr 4:15-6:15 Tuesday 2/12 PTO Valenne Gram Sales Wednesday 2/13 PTO Valenne Gram Sales Thursday 2/14 PTO Valenne Gram Sales Friday 2/15 High School Dress Day Valennes Dance 5:30-7:30 Cougar Families- Congratulaons to our KMS UIL parcipants as they did a great job this week. Although we dont have our campus ranking, we had several rank in the top two in several events. Calculator applica- ons for 6th and 7th grade saw Gabriel McCarthy finish first and Brie Presley finish second. For Diconary Skills 6th and 7th grade, Marena Cortez-Vando placed 2nd. Bailey Bates place 2nd in 8th grade Impromptu speaking while Peyton Clothier placed 1st in Maps/Charts/Graphs for 8th grade. Mr. Clothier also placed 2nd in Modern Oratory for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Brie Presley came in 1st in Oral Reading for 6th and 7th grade while Baylor Cain place 2nd in Oral Reading for 8th grade. Finally, Allyssa Wesall placed 2nd in Spelling for 6th and 7th grade. Congratulaons to all those that placed. Thank you for parcipang and represenng Cougar Naon well! The KMS Drumline took first place over the weekend in their compeon. Please congratulate then when you see them for a job well done. Thank you to those that parcipated in the BISD Showcase. It was a great night and an opportunity to tell others about the great things happening at Kerr! Friday evening will be the Valennes dance. Remember that high school dress is enforced. Drop off is at the cafeteria back doors and pick is promptly at 7:30 at the Pit Porch. Cougar Families-

Congratulations to our KMS UIL participants as they did a great job this week. Although we don’t have our campus ranking, we had several rank in the top two in several events.
