KWW Welcomes YouKentucky’s Western Waterland, KWW, is a 15-county non-profit organization. KWW represents and promotes all facetsof the tourism industry from the Mississippi and Ohio Riversto the Lakes Area and beyond to Todd County. KWW wasestablished in 1969 and is managed by a Board of Directorselected from across the region. KWW is funded primarily byannual membership dues and fund-raising efforts. The annualregional visitor’s guide and map published by KWW are theofficial regional publications. They are mailed by KWW and
the Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism in response to inquiries received from across the nation. Theguide and map are also distributed at a number of travel and sport shows each year, all of Kentucky’s Interstatewelcome centers, and many businesses in the area who provide copies to their customers.
