Principal’s Report Welcome to our fabulous Kindergarten 2019 families and all of the new families who have joined us at Kenthurst Public School ~ the School of Choice. Our Kindergarten children have settled in beautifully and ready to learn lots of new things. We welcome new teachers to our school too. Mr Ben Monaghan who is Assistant Principal Stages 2 & 3 Mrs Lyndal Mcgree Kindergarten teacher Throughout the school holidays, refurbishment of The Computer Room, all three Kindergarten rooms have been completed. New cupboards, wet area, storage and display boards have been installed. The Stage 1 classrooms have been freshly painted. The Library will soon be getting new guttering and downpipes. Our theme this year is Sustainability and we have a beach theme for each class. The weather is perfect. For Free an old saxophone is available, maybe it could be used as a decoration? Please see the office if you would like it.

Also, we have lots of school furniture and a piano to give away. Different sized desks, chairs and tables. You are welcome to contact the school and the General Assistant will show you what is available. Our P&C meeting was held on Wednesday Night, with the new executive and was attended by a large group of enthusiastic parents. Lots of ideas and volunteers, which was exciting! The Fireworks meeting continued and promises to be even bigger and brighter this year. There will be more information to follow, from ‘the task force’. School fees will be sent out this month and we thank you in advance for supporting our school. We use this money to resource and ensure your children have the necessary items. Please note these important dates, for this month. Library News - Term 1 Book Club
