Kenny Burns Hosts New Year’s Eve Party at Uptown with Celebrity Friends

ATLANTA, Georgia-January 6, 2008- On Wednesday, December 31, 2008, Peter Thomas and Cynthia

Bailey in association with, The Lifestyle Specialist, Kenny Burns and his celebrity friends hosted an Annual

New Year’s Eve Party at Uptown Restaurant and Lounge. The event was a celebratory engagement in the

spirit “change,” symbolizing the start of a new year and the essence of elite urban lifestyle.

The event featured fine dining, beverages, and a live performance by r&b recording artist, Carl Thomas that

entertained a crowd of over 300 cosmopolitan guests throughout the evening. Kenny Burns said of the event,

“When creating a moment, the energy is everything!”

Fellow hosts and celebrities in attendance included: Lisa Wu-Hartwell (Atlanta’s Real Housewives), Ed

Hartwell, Frank Ski, Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari-Parker, Jazze Pha, Domonique Wilkins, Rodney Peete, Holly

Robinson Peete, and more.

Partial proceeds from the event also benefitted the Sophies Voice Foundation, a charitable organization

founded by Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari-Parker that supports family outreach programs, parental education

and surgical studies for children and adults with Spina Bifida.
