Our Department Currently

• 1 Police Chief

• 11 Patrol Officers (+1 mandated vacancy)

• 1 Detective

• Major Crimes/SAU/Fire Investigation/MARR Detective services provided by KCSO

• 24/7 coverage- minimum of 2 patrol officers on-duty

• 10 hour shifts, with an overlap between shifts in the evening

• Shared supervision agreement with Shoreline PD

• Kenmore has the 2nd lowest number of officers per 1,000 residents of cities in King County

• 6/25/20: DV Suspect- Takedown by Officers resulting in scrapes

• 7/16/20: Pointing of firearm- Officer pointed a firearm at a murder suspect (in Bothell)- no injuries

• 12/19/20: Pointing of firearm- Officer pointed a firearm at a warrant subject said to be armed with a handgun and knife- no injuries

•No complaints/allegations resulting from incidents

•All were investigated and found to be within policy

•Gender of force subjects: 3 males

•Race of force subjects: 2 white/1 black
