A Film show is arranged for the primary students twice a month. The films produced by Children’s Film Society are shown in the series apart from other educational films.

Special Film Show was arranged in the CCA hall to screen the National Award Winning Film- Komal , to enlighten the innocent children about the Good touch and Bad touch on 20

th Jan, 2016

A documentary film about the War of 1965 against Pakistan was shown to the students on 25

th Jan 2016 which had the interviews

of various Gallantry Award Winners.There was interaction with the students after the screening of the movie.

Film Show Review Aasman se Gira is also a film made by Children’s Film Society, India . The film is directed by Sh Pankaj Parashar. It is the story of a Child King who is kept aloof and is not allowed to mix up with outside children of his age. Great scholars are appointed in the palace to impart expertise knowledge in various faculties to ena-ble him to take the command of kingship in the coming years.

The child brain is unable to understand why his ancestors fought wars to establish separate identities.

One night he joined by a strange little man from other planet. The man is named Trishanku. He does not know the meaning of go back but he wants to go back to his planet. On his planet the life lasts for falling for pleasures and sorrow which leads to shedding tears but his stay on earth develops all the faculties in him.

The moral of the story is LOVE BEGETS LOVE.

We went for an educa-tional excursion to Malkhed on 19

th Decem-

ber 2015. It was arranged for3

rd , 4

thand 5

th classes.

Two buses were booked. The buses came to our school ground. All stu-dents sat in the buses and we started at 8:00 a.m. for Malkhed.

In the bus children were playing Antakshari. They sang many songs. When we reached Malkhed,one by one student came out from buses.The entry fee to the park was Rs. 30 per head. There are

many slides, see-saws, etc. There was also a train. The children en-joyed a ride in the toy train. After that we took lunch and went to the swimming pool. The swimming charges wereRs. 30 for 30 minutes per student.

After that we went for boating. After boating we went to the park. In park we played cricket, foot-ball, chess, etc. We en-joyed watching birds and nature with different col-orsduring picnic.

At 4:00 p.m. we started

our journey back.We reached the school at 5.30 p.m. After that our parents came to school to receive us. We went to home with very tired and sleepy mood.

Community Lunch

Every month a community lunch is organized in the CCA hall. Students decorate the entrance with a beau-tiful rangoli , flowers. The hall is decorated with flowers, ribbons and balloons.

Class I, II, III , IV, V had their community lunch . All students brought variety of food items like idli, Dhokla, Paaratha, Matki, Raasgulla, Gulabjamun, mix vegetable etc. . They shared their food with all and invited the incharge principal, CMP I/C Mr Kishore Shengadekar, and all teachers. They are told about the im-portance of sharing food in strengthening the national integration and unity. The Principal , Mr. P.S. Thul has an interaction with the students about the type of food they eat and its nutritional values.

The students had brought many delicious dishes prepared by their mothers like Dhokla , Idli, Matar Paneer, Halwa, Masala bhaat, etc. They enjoyed and learned sharing food with others.

Use of ICT in Teaching All primary teachers are using technology in their teacher. The Projector is used to show the visuals as well as the Powerpoint presentations to the students of all prima-ry classes. Some videos downloaded from YouTube are also incorporated in the teaching learning process.

Learning by doing Activity based teaching is done so that the students could relate the learning to their experiences.

World Thinking Day Cubs and Bulbuls celebrated World Thinking Day on 22nd Februray to commemorate the birthday of Lord Baden Powell. The programme started with the lightening of lamp and offer-ing a floral tribute and garlanding the Founder of the Boys

Scout Movement , Lord Baden Powell by the P[rincipal Sh. P. S. Thul . A Drawing competition and a Tent making competition was organized for the Scouts and Guides. All the Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides had a delicious Lunch on the oc-casion. Scout Master Mr. Dinesh Kurhade (PRT) mentioned the contributions of Lord Badel Powell in his speech .

A mini Sports Meet was organized in the school in which all the Primary section students par-ticipated in events like 40 mtr race, Basket the ball, put the ball in the bin, Kho-kho , etc.

Mr. Shailendra Pachghare and Mr. Kishore Shengadekar conduct various competitive exams like IMO, NSO, and other talent search exams, etc, to inculcate the compet-itive spirit among its students .

Participation of students in competitions outside the school The Students of the Vidyalaya participated in the extempore and quiz based on Swami Vivekanand.

The Vidyalaya organized a special cleanliness drive to make the students aware of the importance of cleanliness

The Swachchata Monitors are appoin-terd in every class . They are motivated to spread the message of using the dustbins and keeping the classrooms and surroundings clean among their class mates.

Speeches were givenin the morning assembly by the students to throw

light on the great leaders’ work on 1st Oct .

National Education Day- 11th November.

National Pollution Day(2nd December) - A debate was organized on the

topic “ Should Plastics be banned?”

National Energy Conservation day (14th December) - A drawing and

Slogan writing competition was conducted.

KVS Foundation Day-15thDecember, A cultural programme , comprising of School Song, Solo Song,

and group dance was organized.

Republic Day 26th January- Our National Flag was unfurled by the Principal , Mr. P.S. Thul . There was a

dance by the students of

Primary section and a Koli

dance by the secondary

section girls. Sweets were

distributed to everyone

present in the school campus.

Marty’s Day was observed by observing a 1-minute silence to commemorate the work done by the people
