KEMWELL

MP-1000® is a versatile Class 0 multipurpose building board suitable for use in a wide

range of internal partitions, ceilings and semi-exposed applications.

MP-1000® is a strong, lightweight building board for use in many fire applications.

MP-1000® is off-white in colour and has a smooth finish on one side with a sanded reverse

face.

MP-1000® partitions systems offered by Kemwell, covers both general and fire resistant

solutions to meet most design criteria for light weight walls and ceilings.

Light weight structures are gaining wide spread recognition and acceptance against traditional

brick and masonary.

Reaction to Fire Classifications is A1 non-combustible (construction applications) according to

EN 13501-1: 2007, as classified by Exova Warringtonfire in the UK.

MP-1000® provides up to 120 minutes fire resistance.

MoiSture reSiStanCe

MP-1000® retains its excellent dimensional stability even in damp and humid conditions and can be installed at

an early stage in the construction programme, before the building is weather tight. It can also be used for semi-

exposed applications and can be left undecorated.

iMPaCt reSiStanCe

MP-1000® has good impact resistance making it suitable for most industrial applications.

BioLoGiCaL anD CHeMiCaL reSiStanCe

MP-1000® is resistant to mould growth, most chemicals and attack by rodents and insects.

eaSY to WorK, fiX anD DeCorate

MP-1000® is easy to cut, drill, shape and can be worked in the same way as timber products with no special

tools required.

enVironMentaL

Water used in manufacturing is re-circulated in a closed system and most waste material can be re-used.

HeaLtH anD SafetY

MP-1000® is not classified as a dangerous substance and can be placed in an on-site skip with other general

building waste.

Kemwell MP-1000® MultiPro® is a good sound insulator which

when suitably constructed with Steel stud infill and mineral wool

will achieve a sound trasnsmission class upto 60dB (STC 60).
