Each Wearstler box is handcrafted by artisans in Los Angeles with stones and minerals personally selected by Kelly during her travels. It sometimes takes the designer up to a full year to select the perfect combination to adorn one of her boxes. A Jean Paul Gaultier rare puffer jacket (estimate: $800–1,200) A dramatic piece with a black-and-white zebra print that echoes the animal patterns that Wearstler frequently features in her interiors. A Kelly Wearstler dichotomy table (estimate: $10,000–15,000) A unique occasional table inspired by Kelly's continuing interest in Surrealist design figurative decor. Each double hand is cast in bronze and meticulously finished by hand. The tempered glass top is banded in matching bronze trim. Each limited edition table is signed and numbered by Kelly and limited to an Edition of 25. The sale alsos feature extraordinary and rare lots by artists and designers including Pierre Cardin, Alexander Calder, Gucci, Niels Hvass, Percival Lafer, and Matsuda, as well as Latin American and Victorian jewelry.
