Energy Benchmarking | Recommendations
10
• IFMA standards for energy efficiency state that energy usage should be between 5
kWh/FT2/Year and 20 kWh/FT2/Year
• Phoenix is an energy waster, however they are open on Saturdays while all other
locations are closed. Recommend de-lamping and changing all light bulbs from 32w to
28w.

Lamp Replacement | Expected Benefits
12
Recommendations
• Change light bulbs in both locations and de-lamp where possible.
Expected Benefits
• Replacement of bulbs in Phoenix and Tempe will result in annual savings of $709, $432 respectively.
• De-lamping will provide additional savings commensurate with amount of lamps taken out of use.
Lamp Replacement | Results Tracking
• Utility Bill 2014 vs. 2013
13
• We anticipated yearly savings to be $ 709 in Phoenix and $ 432 in Tempe. Actual savings was $2,019 in Phoenix and $1,378 in Tempe.
• Cost of the project in Phoenix was $1,455.44 and $1081.92 in Tempe. We were able to achieve an ROI of less than 12 months in both instances.
