The Keiser University Latin America Campus located in San Marcos, Nicaragua has the following security

procedures in place:

Safety and security guidelines for students, staff and faculty are posted on the university website.

Any scheduled evening or weekend meetings require a member of the staff or faculty to be present and

responsible for the maintenance of all security procedures.

Crime Prevention

The following crime prevention measures are recommended by the university:

Stay alert and know your surroundings.

Lock your car and do not leave any valuables in your car.

Park in well lighted areas.

At night avoid dark and isolated areas. If possible do not walk to your car or dormitory alone.

Do not leave your personal property unattended. Personal Property brought into the facility for personal or

business use is not covered under Keiser University's Insurance policy.

The campus has security guards on premises 24 hours a day.

Personal Property brought into the office for personal or business use is not covered under Keiser University's

Insurance Policy. Therefore, be aware that personal property is brought into the office at your own risk. Cars

parked in the parking lot should be locked as a matter of routine.
