Keeping Up with the Kennedy Groups of students in Mrs. Myerson’s class were challenged to work together to get a train to move along a "track." They could not touch the train with any object or with their hands, and could only use a magnet. Students acted like scientists by asking questions, testing hypotheses, and thinking logically.
Two of Mrs. Lyden's students honor President George HW Bush through an
interactive coloring activity during Instructional Technology class.
Mrs. Dunlap's students program Bee-Bots during Instructional Technology during
HOUR OF CODE week.
Grade 5 went on their annual trip to the Canton Ice House. The students,
teachers, and parent volunteers did an outstanding job of working together to
give all of the students the experience of ice skating. We had many advanced
skaters being leaders and teaching beginners the basics. Many beginners showed
great improvement in the time we were there. Skating is an outstanding life-long
skill for the students to learn about and it was great to see the grade 5 team
giving it their best try.
Students in Miss Jaruszawicus’ class learned about landforms. They made some
great drawings.
Mrs. Paciorkowski’s students were programming their Bee-Bots during Hour of
Code Week.
Mrs. DiMascio's kindergarten class programming their Bee-Bots!
Mrs. Moore’s students learned about bridge design and used their understanding of forces to engineer a strong bridge made of paper.
Kindergarten students used the parachute in PE class to work on teamwork. Students worked together to shape the parachute in a variety of ways and focused on being good teammates to make each shape work as well as possible.
First graders and their reading buddies got together to make gingerbread glyphs. Fifth graders helped the first graders follow the directions to create their own unique gingerbread people.
