“Essential Guide to IT & All

BEYOND BOLLYWOOD: INDIAN AMERICANS SHAPE THE NATION May 2, 2015 – July 12, 2015

From the builders of some of America's earliest railroads and farms to Civil Rights pioneers to digital technology entrepreneurs, Indian Americans have long been an inextricable part of American life. The Morris Museum is proud to be the opening venue for this national tour of the first Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition, which details the history of Indian Americans and their contributions to the United States from the 1700s to the present. Created in collaboration with the Smithsonian's Asian Pacific American Center, this exhibition explores the Indian American ex-perience and the community's vital political, professional, and cultural contributions to American life and history.

THE FABRIC OF INDIA May 1 – August 15, 2015

Brilliant saris, shawls, and accessories in a profusion of colors and patterns will be the highlights of this exhibition. They include rich gold and silver brocades, intricately hand woven and tie-dyed silks, luxurious velvet and lace, gossamer cottons, and beauti-fully patterned embroideries.

THE ABSTRACT IN CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ART May 2 – July 12, 2015 This installation of 20th-century paintings by Indian artists explores the concept of abstraction as a vehicle for moving beyond culture through style, color, and form. These works explore style and color, as well as metaphorical facets of Indian culture.

The Morris Museum is located at 6 Normandy Parkway, Morristown, NJ 07960 and is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Fri-

day and Saturday, 11:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, 12:00 to 5:00pm. In addition, the Museum is open evenings from 5:00 to

8:00pm on the second and third Thursday of the month. For more information, call (973) 971-3700, or visit

Join fellow Bourbon Club goers and taste your way through a couple of stellar bourbon classics. This month we will be featuring the lines of both Woodford Reserve and Maker’s Mark. Did you know that the red wax used on the Maker’s mark bottles has been used since the very first bottle rolled off the line? Come out and join us as we revisit why these two classics have been so popular for so long.
