In January 2012 te City o San Diego amended its

Municipa Code to aow residents o singe amiyomes to keep and maintain two miniature goats. Te

specifc reguations are ocated in Section 44.0307 and

important to understand tat goats mik must be

pasteurized beore it is consumed or used or making

ceese. Consuming raw, unpasteurized, mik can cause

ie treatening inesses especiay in young cidrenand tose wit immune impairment are especiay at

risk. Te oowing provides a way to reduce te

risks:
