Motion carried: 6 - 0 The board reviewed their standing code of ethics and no changes were recommended. The board reviewed their current goals and revised B.2 to read: Explore learning options and program alignment at the 6-12 grade level. The board discussed positions in preparation of the 2010 officer and committee assignments. Nominations will be presented at the January 11, 2010 organizational meeting. The board discussed adding school board workshop sessions. The draft will be brought to the January 11, 2010 organizational meeting for approval. The board discussed the open enrollment status at Prior Lake High School for 2010-11. The Policy Committee will review state statute and bring policy back to board for action regarding open enrollment. The board reviewed Growth Task Force parameters with the assistance of Joel Sutter, representing Ehlers and Assoc., who presented options to the board on lease levy vs. bond. The board reviewed theircurrent goals and revised B.2 toread:

Explore learning options andprogram alignment at the 6-12 gradelevel.

The board discussed positionsin preparation of the 2010 officer andcommittee assignments.Nominations will be presented atthe January 11, 2010 organizationalmeeting.

The board discussed addingschool board workshop sessions.The draft will be brought to theJanuary 11, 2010 organizationalmeeting for approval.

The board discussed the openenrollment status at Prior Lake HighSchool for 2010-11. The PolicyCommittee will review state statuteand bring policy back to board foraction regarding open enrollment.

The board reviewed GrowthTask Force parameters with theassistance of Joel Sutter,representing Ehlers and Assoc., whopresented options to the board onlease levy vs. bond. Additionaldiscussion will take place at theregular school board meetingimmediately following thisworkshop.

Some Spectrum classes are only available at Twin Oaks, so students enrolled at Hid-den Oaks Middle School who are interested in taking these courses must join classes at Twin Oaks.

Twin Oaks has chosen to recognize these Hidden Oaks students who have excelled in their Twin Oaks spectrum courses: Brandon Bush, Apryl Grund and Gracy Halpenny.
