One way to make your kitchen more environmentally friendly is to buy eco

friendly products. On eco friendly product’s packets there will be a sign saying that it is

eco friendly. Waste food can be put on a compost heap or if you have pets (especially

dogs)they eat waste food Also use less water and electricity as that helps.

To keep your fridge eco-friendly its not just about the

fridge itself it is about the food you put in. here are

some simple steps:• Get an A-class fridge• Shut the door as soon as

possible • Put it somewhere sensible

e.g. not by a radiator or on heated floor

• Put cold food in the fridge not hot food

• Clean when needed

To keep your attic eco-friendly get

good insulation. Insulation can make your whole house more eco-

friendly, because it goes everywhere in the walls. Check the roof every once in a while for leaks.

Keep reusable items like baby things because you might need

them. A normal home loses almost half its heat through its walls and roof. Insulating the roof and the

walls could save you almost £400 in energy costs, which more than

makes up for the low cost of insulation.

planting your garden low in your yard, so

Although the natural way of life is being wasteful we can do it. All we
