• Festivals give any visitor to Sardinia the opportunity to experience some of the cultural heritage of the island.
Sardinian festivals January - New Year's Eve in Alghero; Sea Urchin Festival in Alghero.
February - Sa Sartiglia in Oristano; Bosa Carnival.
March - The Artichoke Festival in Uri.
April - Saint George's Day - April 23rd;Sardinia Day - April 28th.
May - Sant'Efisio;Cavalcata Sarda.
June - Cherries Festival;St. John the Baptist Day.
July - S'Ardia Horse Race.
August - The Archers Tournament;Fireworks and Fried Fish.
September - ‘Fiesta Saint Miquel’ in Alghero; Festival of Saint Michael.
October - Chestnut Fair.
November - Mountain Products Agricultural Fair.
December - Signum Judici.
