DIVISION LAUNCHING OF THE 2018 BRIGADA ESKWELA
To : CID and SGOD Chiefs All EPS and SEPS
All Elementary and all Secondary School Heads All Teaching Personnel
All Division Office Personnel All concerned
1. The Department of Education (DepEd) Division of La Carlota City will be conducting the
Division Launching of Brigada Eskwela 2018 on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 7:00 AM through a caravan with the route specified in Enclosure 1. An opening program and stakeholders’ recognition will follow at 8:00 AM at DHSBNHS stage and covered court.
2. Participants in this activity are the following: a. CID and SGOD Chiefs b. All EPS and SEPS c. All school heads of elementary schools, JHS and SHS d. All department heads e. All teaching and non-teaching personnel from elementary schools, JHS and SHS f. All personnel from the division office g. School PTA presidents h. School SPG and SSG presidents i. At least fifty (50) students from each central elementary and secondary schools j. Punong Baranggay and/or at least one (1) barangay official k. Other community, government and private stakeholders (at least one (1)
organization or equivalent to three (3) individuals per school)
3. Participants shall provide their own vehicles and other means of transportation during the caravan. Assembly time is at 6:30 AM along the by-street of Gurrea. Cluster Heads and all DRRM Coordinators under each cluster shall be in charge of organizing the different participants under their jurisdiction while the Division DRRM Coordinator shall be the overall organizing head of the caravan. Should your stakeholders wish to join the Caravan, the responsibility of providing their vehicles should be shouldered by each cluster of schools. Below is the sequence of parade kick-off:

4. All clusters of schools must provide for their own bands or Pasalamat drum beaters including the provision of transportation, if the need arises. Additionally, SMNHS drum beaters will lead the caravan while LGNHS drum beaters will be at the last part of the parade sequence.
5. 2018 School Brigada Eskwela Jingle of each school must be played during the caravan,
providing for their own sound system and transportation.
6. Brigada Eskwela 2018 Shirts will be provided to all school heads and to selected division office personnel. Those without Brigada Eskwela 2018 Shirts must wear other white Brigada Eskwela shirts. Specified in Enclosure 2 is the Brigada Eskwela 2018 shirt design.
7. Brigada Eskwela 2018 Tarpaulins will be distributed to each school prior to the parade. To
further strengthen the Brigada Eskwela 2018 campaign, all schools are enjoined to prepare flaglets (Enclosure 3) with Brigada Eskwela 2018 logo and their respective advocacy materials.
8. All schools must prepare one (1) exhibit board/tarpaulin in 3ft. (width) x 5ft. (height)
dimension featuring their Adopt-a-School Program accomplishments including their Brigada Eskwela 2018 preparations (Enclosure 4). The exhibit will be held at DHSBNHS during the division launching. A soft copy of the exhibit board template will be shared through the School Heads’ Facebook group chat.
9. All School delegations are expected to return to their own stations right after the program to
conduct their respective School Launching of Brigada Eskwela 2018.
10. To ensure 100% participation from the schools, Education Program Supervisors shall be responsible for their respective foster Schools in monitoring Brigada Eskwela 2018 activities starting on Monday, May 28, 2018.
11. Enclosure 5 of this memorandum identifies the members of the Executive and Working
Committees for the division launching of Brigada Eskwela 2018. 12. For clarifications and further information, all concerned may contact Mr. Kenneth Daniel C.
