Outpacing Melanoma 5K - May 1 at 8:00am Corporate Woods Office Park, Overland Park, KS

Outpacing Melanoma is a non-profit organization dedicated to

funding research and increasing public awareness of melanoma,

the most deadly form of skin cancer. Participate in the event to

help this cause. The run/walk will take you through Corporate

Woods in Overland Park and is followed by a kids fun run. Learn

Purple Stride 5K - May 14 at 8:30am Frank A. Theis Park, Kansas City, MO

PurpleStride Kansas City is back and better than ever! This year,

our 5K run and family-friendly walk will take place on May 14 at

Frank A. Theis Park. Register now and join us for a day filled

with hope and inspiration to raise awareness and support for

Running with the Cows Half Marathon & 5K - May 14,

7:30am at Queen of the Holy Rosary School, Bucyrus, KS

Enjoy the rural scenery at Running with the Cows Half Marathon

& 5K! Participants will get a race shirt, custom bib number, a

cowbell, and a delicious array of post-race food and drink! Half

marathon participants will also receive a large finisher's medal!

The race benefits the Holy Rosary School and Catholic Relief

Girls on the Run 5K - May 21 at 9:00am Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO

The Girls on the Run 5K is the end of the season celebration of

the achievements of our girls during their participation in this

life-changing program. Join the girls, their coaches and

families, and other community runners in for this fun 5K event!

Merriam Turkey Creek Festival - May 21, 8:00am Irene B. French Community Center, Merriam, KS

Lace up and head outdoors for this annual event benefiting

the Merriam Parks, Recreation and Community Center

Foundation Youth Scholarship Fund. Register individually or

as a team. Medals will be given for finishing and placing in

events. Sponsored by the City of Merriam and Shawnee Copy

Triumph Over Tragedy 5K run/walk - May 22 at 8:00am

Garmin Headquarters, Olathe, KS

The KLL Memorial Foundation offers scholarships to young

adults who have lost a parent to cancer. These scholarships

are primarily funded by proceeds from the Triumph Over

Tragedy 5K. Participants will receive an event shirt and can

enjoy post-race food and beverages. Learn more about the

Amy Thompson Run 8K, 5K, 2K - May 30, 8:00am Loose Park, Kansas City, MO

Join us for the 29th annual Amy Thompson Run 5K/8K on May

30 at Loose Park in Kansas City. This fun family event

features a 5K run/walk, an 8K run/walk, a 2K walk for thought

and a kids run. All participants will receive a custom finisher’s

of runners/walkers are welcome! Groupie run participants also save 20% off most full
