the Kayak Voss

Week Trips

Class III whitewater kayaking experience and a solid roll is expected.

Airport shuttle form Bergen to Voss.

We have in association with Voss Vanderheim a high standard Hostel where you can sleep. This will include a nice breakfast with food from the neighbor farm. The hostel is located a ten minute walk away from the Kayak Voss Base.

Bring personal clothes and paddle gear. Or rent whatever you need from Kayak Voss. We are happy to sort you out.

Language. Our guides speak English, Norwegian, German and Swiss German.

Get around. We have a big car with 9 seats and one small car for shuttles.

Kayak Voss needs a minimum of 4 and a Maximum of 8 participants for the basic package.

Included in the package is: boat, airport shuttle, guided trips, breakfast in the Voss Vanderheim, lunch in the beautiful nature surrounding the rivers in the west coast, two dinners at the cafe Tre Brør, a BBQ on the beach in Voss.

Not Included: Alcoholic beverages, gratuities, travel insurance, flights. Questions? We are open for any style of service. The Kayak Voss team

WEEK TRIPS

This is an example how your week might look like:

Day One Arrival in Voss. See the town and

relax. Meet up in the evening at the Tre Brør

cafe to get to know each other. Maybe we can

get a evening surf at the famous Bulken Wave?

In summer we have daylight to almost

midnight!

Day Two After breakfast we meet up at the

Kayak Voss base. Before heading to a nearby

river, we get you sorted out with gear, boats

and fittings. We will take our time so you get

confident with our gear. Going for a nice run on

the upper and lower Strandaelvi. Dinner at the

Tre Brør Cafe.

WEEK TRIPS

Day Three Meet a the Kayak Voss

base. Taking a second run on the

Strandaelvi and getting to know that

section better. After lunch break we

will head into the Raundalen valley

to paddle the Play run. For dinner

we will invite you to the

Prestegardslandet for a nice BBQ.

Day Four Creeking session in the

crystal clear Brandsethelvi. In the

afternoon we can do an alternative

program. Hiking, Fishing, try out and

other extremesports or just enjoy a

nice day in the beautiful UNESCO

world heritage city Bergen. If you

are in for some very special local food traditions, we can organize to eat

Smalahove (Sheeps head) at a farm by the shore of Strandaelvi.

WEEK TRIPS

Day Five Driving up a scenic route to Mjøllfjell

on the upper Raundalen. This tour will take a

whole day. It is scenic and spectacular with a

mix of great wild water and calm sections. The

trip ending in the famous Nosebraker waterfall.

Day Six Run on the Reimegrend of the

Raundalselvi. After lunch we will keep on going

down the Skytebane section. Far well Dinner at

the Tre Brør Cafe.

Day Seven Morning session in one of our Play

holes or Surfing waves before getting back on

the plain in Bergen

Different rivers are good at different water levels. We start the week with a

plan for what rivers we will do according to the current water levels. This week

plan is just an example of some of the great runs in Voss. 'Voss. Never to high -
