Paper: Rheumatoid Arthritis Imagine being unable to pick up a cup of water or
being incapable of buttoning clothing for the start of a daily routine.
To understand the effects of medication to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis verses non-medical alternatives a person needs to understand, what Rheumatoid Arthritis is, the causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis, its signs and symptoms, diagnosis, a person’s life with Rheumatoid Arthritis and treatment options.

Severe pain, stiffness, inflammation redness around the affected areas of the joints
Low grade fever, heat off the joints, flu like symptoms, loss of energy and appetite has been linked as other symptoms
Positive diagnosis See doctor X-ray, blood test, fluid sample

1. Basic symptoms/ first signs of bone lost
2. Bone/ cartilage damage, abnormal shaping of the joint
3. Joint, bone, cartilage and surrounding tissue damage, deformities in the joints
4. Crippling deformities, limited use of joints, severe damage to joints, bone, cartilage and surrounding tissue
